Job Title: Barista

Department: Café / Food & Beverage

Reports To: Café Manager / Store Manager

Job Purpose:

To prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and selected food items while providing excellent customer service and maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth day-to-day café operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, cold beverages, shakes, and other café products as per standard recipes.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment.
- Take customer orders and provide polite and friendly service.
- Explain menu items and suggest beverages or food products based on customer preferences.
- Handle billing, POS transactions, cash, and digital payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the counter, coffee station, equipment, and seating area.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of food and beverage ingredients.
- Check stock levels and inform the supervisor about items requiring replenishment.
- Assist with opening and closing activities of the café.
- Follow food safety, hygiene,



and company SOPs.
- Handle basic customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Support the café team during busy hours and maintain timely service.
- Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and a skilled appearance.
- Work effectively as part of a team and support other café operations when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Any Graduate.
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a café/restaurant is preferred; freshers may also be considered for junior roles.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and café equipment.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Good hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Basic knowledge of POS/billing and cash handling.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
