Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant Location: Manek Chowk, Ahmedabad

Experience: 5-8 Years

Working Hours: 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

About Company The company operates in the bullion trading and gold jewellery sector and is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage accounting operations, statutory compliances, and physical gold/silver stock reconciliation while reporting directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities

- Handle complete day-to-day accounting using Tally ERP/Prime.
- Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Handle TDS returns and related compliances.
- Manage ledgers, vouchers, bank reconciliation, payments, receivables and payables.
- Coordinate with CA/auditors for audits, filings and assessments.
- Reconcile physical gold/silver stock with purchase,



sales and delivery records.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS for management.

Requirements
- 5-8+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP/Prime and MS Excel.
- Practical experience in end-to-end GST and TDS filing.
- Good knowledge of audit documentation and preparation.
- Experience in physical stock/inventory reconciliation; bullion, commodities or similar industry experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate directly with senior management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
