Key Responsibilities
- Lead SQL-driven analysis and development to support enterprise reporting, governance, and stewardship needs.
- Design, enhance, and maintain DWH structures (fact/dimension models), ensuring scalability, performance, and consistency.
- Own data stewardship activities including data definitions, business glossary alignment, metadata management, and stewardship workflows.
- Implement and monitor data quality rules, issue management processes, and remediation tracking with stakeholders.
- Partner with ETL teams to define source-to-target mappings, validate transformations, and ensure reliable data pipelines.
- Drive data governance practices including policy adherence, access controls, and standardization of key data elements.
- Develop and support Power BI datasets, semantic layers, and dashboards aligned to governed metrics and definitions.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for data issues across source systems, ETL, and warehouse layers; recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into governed data solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and reviews for SQL, ETL logic, and DWH design to ensure best practices and consistency.

Minimum

Qualifications:

- BTECH, MTECH, MCA, or MSC.




- 5–8 years of experience working with SQL, data warehousing (DWH), and data stewardship in enterprise environments.
- Robust hands-on SQL skills for data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.
- Experience supporting ETL processes and validating end-to-end data movement into a warehouse.
- Working knowledge of data governance concepts, data quality practices, and stewardship operating models.
- Experience building or supporting Power BI reporting with a focus on consistent metrics and trusted datasets.

Preferred

Qualifications:

- Proven experience defining and operationalizing data governance frameworks (standards, controls, stewardship processes).
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data marts, and enterprise reporting patterns.
- Experience with data lineage, metadata management, and business glossary implementation in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ability to lead cross-functional discussions, influence data standards adoption, and drive closure on data quality issues.
- Experience optimizing ETL workflows and improving reliability, auditability, and reconciliation of warehouse loads.
- Advanced Power BI experience including data modeling, DAX measures, and performance optimization of reports/datasets.
