Job Title- Splunk / Tanium Engineer

Experience- 6–10 Years

Location - Pune / Hyderabad / Bangalore (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tanium Engineer to manage and optimize the enterprise endpoint management platform across large-scale environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Tanium modules, endpoint security, patch management, software deployment, compliance reporting, and automation. The role requires collaboration with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure effective endpoint governance and security posture. Based on an internal JD for a senior engineering role involving Tanium expertise.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support the Tanium platform in a large enterprise environment.
- Manage endpoint inventory, software deployment, patch management, and compliance reporting.
- Create and maintain Tanium sensors, packages, actions, and saved questions.
- Monitor endpoint health and security posture across Windows, Linux, and macOS systems.




- Troubleshoot Tanium client and server-related issues.
- Integrate Tanium with security and operational tools such as CrowdStrike, SIEM, and ITSM platforms.
- Support vulnerability remediation and endpoint hardening initiatives.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
- Generate operational and compliance reports for stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Tanium Administration/Engineering
- Experience managing large enterprise endpoint environments
- Strong knowledge of:

- Tanium Asset
- Tanium Comply
- Tanium Threat Response

- Endpoint management and software distribution
- Patch management and vulnerability remediation
- Windows Server and Desktop Administration
