Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district for a Social Media Manager & Project Manager – Political Campaigns with mandatory fluency in Punjabi. The role involves planning, creating, and publishing social media content across platforms to support political campaigns, including managing posting schedules, monitoring engagement, and responding to audience interactions in Punjabi and English.

The Social Media

Manager & Project Manager will coordinate campaign activities, align digital messaging with offline events, and collaborate with internal teams, candidates, and stakeholders to ensure consistent communication. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking performance metrics, preparing reports, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule.



The role also requires staying up to date with political developments, maintaining confidentiality, and adapting strategies quickly based on campaign needs.

Qualifications

- Strong social media management skills, including content planning, publishing, community engagement, and performance tracking across major platforms.
- Project management capabilities, such as organizing tasks, managing timelines, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and overseeing end-to-end campaign activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Punjabi (mandatory) and English, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and context-sensitive political messaging.
- Analytical skills to interpret social media metrics, audience behavior, and campaign performance, and to recommend data-informed improvements.
- Ability to work in office in the Mohali district, handle fast-paced and high-pressure situations, and maintain professionalism and discretion in political environments.
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, basic design tools or coordination with creative teams, and awareness of current social and political trends.
- Previous experience in political campaigns, public relations, media, or related fields is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, political science, marketing, management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
