Key Responsibilities

- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts generated through Microsoft Sentinel or IBM QRadar.

- Perform event correlation, log analysis, and incident investigation.

- Conduct triage of security incidents and escalate critical threats as per SOPs.

- Monitor security events related to malware, phishing, suspicious activities, and unauthorized access attempts.

- Perform threat hunting and identify indicators of compromise (IOCs).

- Develop and fine-tune SIEM use cases, correlation rules, and dashboards.

- Prepare incident reports, root cause analysis, and remediation recommendations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for incident containment and resolution.

- Ensure adherence to SLAs and security monitoring processes.

Required Skills

- 2+ years of experience in SOC Monitoring / Security Operations Center.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel or IBM QRadar SIEM.

- Solid understanding of SIEM concepts, log analysis,



and security event monitoring.

- Experience in incident investigation and response.

- Knowledge of networking concepts, Windows/Linux security logs, and cybersecurity fundamentals.

- Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK; framework and threat detection methodologies.

- Familiarity with ticketing tools and incident management processes.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with EDR tools such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, or Carbon Black.

- Knowledge of KQL (for Sentinel) or AQL (for QRadar).

- Security certifications such as SC-200, CEH, Security+, or CySA+.

Short Sourcing JD

- 2+ years of experience in SOC Operations.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel or IBM QRadar.

- Expertise in security monitoring, incident analysis, log investigation, and threat detection.

- Understanding of SIEM, incident response, and cybersecurity fundamentals.

- Exposure to EDR solutions and threat hunting will be an added advantage.
