House of Happiness is a Hyderabad-based business offering imported chocolates, customised gift hampers, and gift-packing services. Our dedicated cake brand, HOH Cakes, creates wedding and celebration cakes. We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Content Creator to showcase our products, craftsmanship, and customer occasions through high-quality photography and video.

About the Role

You will manage content production from planning and shooting to editing and preparing the final content for publication. The role requires professional editing skills and hands-on experience operating professional cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio equipment.

Professional camera and production equipment will be provided on-site. You must be confident using and caring for this equipment independently.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and shoot product photographs and videos featuring chocolates, gift hampers, wedding cakes, and custom cake designs.
- Create Instagram Reels, Stories, promotional videos, product showcases, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Capture cake preparation, decorating, gift packing, and other processes in an engaging and visually appealing way.
- Operate professional cameras and select appropriate exposure, focus, white balance, frame rates, and lenses.
- Set up lighting, tripods, stabilisers, and microphones as required.
- Professionally edit footage, including colour correction, colour grading, audio cleanup, transitions, subtitles, and suitable music.
- Retouch product photographs while maintaining accurate colours and a realistic appearance.
- Develop content ideas, scripts, storyboards, and shot lists aligned with the brand’s style and business goals.
- Maintain a content calendar covering product launches, seasonal gifting, festivals,



and wedding campaigns.
- Coordinate with the cake and store teams to organise shoots around production schedules.
- Attend wedding venues or events when required to capture cake delivery, setup, and final presentation.
- Prepare platform-appropriate exports and maintain an organised archive of footage, photographs, and project files.
- Handle company equipment responsibly and keep it clean, secure, and ready for use.

Required Skills and Experience

- Skilled video-editing proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software.
- Strong photo-editing skills using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or equivalent software.
- Practical experience operating DSLR or mirrorless cameras and professional production equipment.
- A strong understanding of composition, lighting, visual storytelling, sound, and colour.
- Ability to produce polished short-form content with clear openings, engaging pacing, and consistent branding.
- Ability to manage a shoot independently and deliver edited content within agreed deadlines.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and clear communication.
- A portfolio demonstrating your own photography, videography, and editing work.

Preferred Skills

- Experience creating content for food, bakery, gifting, retail, or wedding businesses.
- Familiarity with Sony mirrorless cameras, particularly the Sony a6700.
- Basic motion graphics, graphic design, and social media copywriting skills.
- Ability to use content performance insights to improve future posts.
