Responsibilities

- Conduct and monitor sleep studies, including overnight polysomnography, multiple sleep latency tests, and maintenance of wakefulness tests.
- Prepare and calibrate equipment required for sleep studies, ensuring all devices are functioning properly.
- Record and interpret sleep data, identifying any irregularities or abnormalities in sleep patterns.
- Work collaboratively with the pulmonary and critical care team to provide comprehensive care for patients with sleep disorders.
- Provide emergency support and intervention during sleep studies if required, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation of sleep study results and patient interactions.
- Educate patients and their families about the procedures, expectations,



and follow-up care related to sleep studies.
- Stay updated with advancements in sleep technology and integrate recent techniques into practice where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards in all sleep study activities.
