About the role:-

We are looking for an experienced and disciplined Head Human Resources to lead the HR function at our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be a former Indian Armed Forces Commissioned Officer (Ex-Army) with solid leadership capabilities and hands-on experience in managing large workforces, employee relations, administration, discipline, industrial relations, and plant-level HR operations.

Job responsibilities:-

- Partner with the Plant Head and functional heads to achieve production and business objectives.
- Drive workforce planning, manpower optimization, and succession planning.
- Support organizational restructuring and change management initiatives.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, Induction, transfers, promotions, attendance, leave and separation.
- Build talent pipelines for critical manufacturing positions.
- Drive the annual performance appraisal process.
- Monitor goal setting, mid-year reviews, and performance calibration.
- Support performance improvement initiatives.
- Identify training needs through TNI.
- Ensure mandatory GMP, EHS, SOP, and compliance training.
- Maintain healthy relations with workmen and employee representatives.
- Handle grievance redressal and disciplinary matters.




- Conduct domestic inquiries and manage disciplinary actions.
- Prevent and resolve industrial disputes proactively.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws including Factories Act, Industrial Relations Code, Social Security Code, EPF, ESIC, Contract Labour regulations, Contract Labour regulations, Payment of Wages, Bonus, and Gratuity provisions, POSH compliance or applicable state laws
- Coordinate labour inspections and maintain statutory registers.
- Oversee attendance, shift rosters, overtime, and leave administration.
- Validate payroll inputs and ensure timely salary processing.
- Monitor contract workforce compliance.
- Design and execute engagement initiatives for shift employees.
- Organize recognition programs, sports, festivals, and communication forums.
- Improve retention and employee morale.
- Oversee transport, canteen, security, housekeeping, and guest house.
- Monitor vendor performance for facility management services.
- Ensure HR documentation is audit-ready for USFDA, MHRA, WHO-GMP, and internal audits.
- Support EHS and Quality teams during regulatory inspections.
