Job Details: Job Location: India - Pune - Pune, , Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Purpose Navitas Semiconductor (Nasdaq: NVTS) is a next-generation power semiconductor leader driving innovation in gallium nitride (GaN) and high-voltage silicon carbide (SiC) technologies. Our products enable faster, more efficient power delivery across AI data centers, high-performance computing, energy and grid infrastructure, and industrial electrification. We are seeking a SiC Product Engineer to support new product development, characterization, qualification, and release of power MOSFET products.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on product engineering experience in silicon semiconductor technology and apply strong fundamentals in semiconductor physics, MOSFET and Diode device behavior, device characterization, and data analysis.

Experience with SiC power devices is preferred.

Key Responsibilities and Duties: Execute product engineering activities for assigned SiC MOSFET products from engineering samples through characterization, qualification, product release, and transition to sustaining support. Develop and execute device characterization plans covering key static and dynamic electrical parameters across voltage, current, and temperature conditions. Analyze wafer probe (CP), final test (FT), and quality-control (QC) data to assess distributions, yield, correlations, outliers, and product performance against specifications.

Support definition and optimization of test limits, guard bands, test methods, and product screening requirements in collaboration with test, device, quality, and reliability teams.



Investigate parametric, yield, and reliability excursions using structured data analysis, electrical characterization, and failure-analysis results; drive issues to documented closure. Support product qualification activities, reliability data review, engineering lot disposition, risk assessment, and formal product-release readiness.

Generate clear characterization reports, data summaries, specification recommendations, datasheet inputs, and technical documentation required for product release. Coordinate with device engineering, wafer foundry, package engineering, assembly and test partners, quality, reliability, applications, and operations to resolve product issues and meet program milestones.

Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related discipline. 3-5 years of semiconductor product engineering experience, with hands-on experience supporting silicon-based semiconductor products.





Experience with SiC power devices is preferred; candidates with strong silicon MOSFET product-engineering experience and demonstrated ability to learn wide-bandgap technology will be considered. Basic understanding of semiconductor physics and MOSFET device behavior is required. Hands-on experience with semiconductor device characterization and laboratory equipment.

Experience analyzing electrical test data, yield distributions, correlations, and process or lot variation; proficiency with Excel and statistical analysis tools is expected. Working knowledge of wafer probe, final test, product qualification, reliability testing, failure analysis, and semiconductor manufacturing flow is preferred. Strong problem-solving, technical documentation, cross-functional communication, and execution skills in a fast-paced engineering environment.
