About The Role

We are seeking a dependable and technically capable individual to join our team as a Website & SEO Technical Assistant. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or candidates with foundational computer and technical skills to develop long-term expertise in website management, SEO monitoring, content updates, WordPress administration, and plugin testing. The role involves supporting our website operations through routine maintenance, content management, SEO performance tracking, and testing new website functionalities.

While prior experience in SEO or web development is not mandatory, a strong willingness to learn and problem-solving aptitude are essential. This position is ideal for candidates interested in building a career in website management and digital operations, with training provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of computer applications and a keen interest in website and digital operations. Relevant educational backgrounds include COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) training through ITI, BCA, B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology, diploma courses in computer science or IT, MCA, or other recognized certifications in computer applications. Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.





Candidates should have reliable internet access and a suitable computer for daily work. Prior experience with WordPress or website troubleshooting is helpful but not necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided. We value curiosity, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of website and SEO-related tasks, including but not limited to monitoring website performance, managing content, and testing new functionalities.

- SEO Monitoring & Reporting: Track keyword rankings, analyze search visibility, review Google Search Console data, monitor indexing, impressions, clicks, and overall website performance. Identify significant ranking changes and prepare detailed SEO reports. Maintain tracking spreadsheets and assist in basic keyword and competitor research to support SEO strategies.
- Content Management: Add, update, and publish website content using WordPress. Format text, insert images, links, and internal references, and ensure content displays correctly post-publication. Organize content schedules and optimize images for web use. Make necessary updates to existing pages as information evolves.
- WordPress Website Management: Create and configure current websites or pages, set up menus, widgets, and site settings. Install, update, and troubleshoot WordPress plugins and themes. Perform routine website maintenance, test updates, and make basic HTML/CSS adjustments when needed. You will work primarily with established themes and systems, so advanced web design skills are not required.
- WordPress Plugin Testing:



Install and test new or updated plugins, follow testing protocols, document bugs or issues, and communicate findings to the development team. This role involves verifying plugin functionality, identifying bugs, and ensuring compatibility before deployment on live sites. No PHP programming knowledge is necessary for this task.

While prior experience is not mandatory, the ability to learn quickly, troubleshoot technical issues, and follow detailed instructions is crucial for success in this role. You will receive comprehensive training in all aspects of the job, including SEO tools, content management, and website troubleshooting.
