Words And Cappuccinos is looking for an experienced Senior UI/UX Website Designer for an upcoming healthcare website redesign project.

This is not a basic website mockup assignment. We are looking for someone who can take a project from UX planning and wireframing through polished responsive UI design and developer-ready Figma handoff.

Project Scope The project involves redesigning the digital experience of a US-based healthcare organization serving multiple audience groups, including members/caregivers and organizational partners.

The selected designer will be responsible for:

- Reviewing the existing website, project brief and brand materials
- Refining website information architecture and sitemap
- Understanding and mapping key user journeys
- Creating UX wireframes for core page types
- Developing the overall visual direction
- Designing high-fidelity website screens in Figma
- Creating desktop, tablet and mobile-responsive layouts
- Designing audience-specific user experiences and CTAs
- Building reusable UI components and a scalable design system
- Creating navigation, buttons, cards, forms, testimonial modules and other UI states
- Developing interactive prototypes for important user journeys
- Following accessibility-conscious UX/UI practices
- Organizing Figma files and components professionally
- Preparing developer-ready design specifications and handoff
- Incorporating consolidated feedback during defined revision rounds

The project documentation anticipates core areas such as Homepage, Why Us, Services, Members & Caregivers, Partner/Agency pages, About, Contact/Get Help and Trust/Compliance. Required Skills & Experience

The project specifically requires accessible design considerations such as readable typography, adequate contrast, accessible form patterns, clear focus states and logical interaction hierarchy.

Contemporary Human Professional Trustworthy Clear Accessible Conversion-focused The brand direction should be evolved rather than completely reinvented. The website should avoid a generic hospital/insurance look and should balance warmth for members and caregivers with professional credibility for organizational audiences.

Project Duration

Approximately 7–8 working weeks, subject to client feedback and approvals.

The planned workflow includes discovery, UX/wireframes, visual direction, high-fidelity UI, responsive design, client refinements and final developer handoff.

Freelance / Project-Based / Remote

This role is currently focused on UX/UI design and Figma handoff. Website development is not part of this particular requirement.
