The Role in One Line

During your first year, you will deliver in-person DSA training and mentor classes of 70–100 students. After one year, based on your performance and NxtWave’s business needs, you can get the opportunity to move into Software Development and work on scalable products and internal platforms.

What You'll Do

- Deliver daily in-person classroom training on DSA or relevant subjects
- Design, develop, and implement learning activities, materials, and resources aligned with industry standards
- Mentor and support students — resolve queries, give personalized guidance, and review deliverables for accuracy and quality
- Handle class sizes of 70–100 students, ensuring engagement and effective learning outcomes
- Manage and mentor a team of Technical Instructors, ensuring high teaching standards across programs
- Define academic quality benchmarks, teaching frameworks, and instructor evaluation criteria
- Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions for Technical Instructors
- Own the planning and execution of large-scale bootcamps, workshops, and learning initiatives




- Contribute to curriculum development and improvements based on student feedback and industry trends
- Partner with Content, Product, Operations, and Engagement teams to improve the overall learning experience

You're A Strong Fit If
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Data Structures & Algorithms; can explain complex topics clearly and engagingly
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
- Professional fluency in English, with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
- 2-3+ years of teaching, mentoring, or academic leadership experience
- Experience managing Technical Instructors and driving team performance
- Robust ownership of program-level goals and academic outcomes
- Problem-solving, solution-seeking mindset; quickly learns and uses new tech platforms
- Competitive programming experience (Codeforces / CodeChef / LeetCode / AtCoder) or ICPC/hackathon participation is a strong plus — Codeforces rating of 1600+ preferred
- Comfortable using AI tools and integrations to enhance teaching and development work
- Empathy, ambition, openness to feedback; works well with people from diverse backgrounds

- Round 1 — 10-minute telephonic screen with our TA team
- Round 2 — 60 - minute virtual DSA Technical Interview 1
- Round 3 — 60 - minute virtual DSA Technical Interview 2
