POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SDET / QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation solutions across mobile and web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber/BDD, Appium, API testing, SQL, and CI/CD, with the ability to contribute across the complete software quality lifecycle.

The role will be responsible for building reliable automation frameworks, expanding automated regression coverage, integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting failures, and working closely with engineering, product, and business teams. Experience with iOS automation, Salesforce, Playwright, healthcare/life sciences, or banking applications will be an advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks for web and mobile

applications.
- Develop automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, BDD, and Page Object Model

(POM).
- Develop and execute mobile automation for iOS applications using Appium, Xcode, and iOS simulators.
- Build and maintain hybrid and data-driven automation frameworks with reusable utilities and components.
- Identify suitable manual test scenarios for automation and continuously improve automation coverage.
- Integrate automation suites with Jenkins / GitLab CI/CD for continuous testing and automated regression execution.
- Manage source code using Git, GitLab, and Bitbucket, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
- Perform API testing and validation using Postman and REST-based services.




- Perform backend and database validation using SQL, Oracle, and SOQL.
- Support testing and automation of enterprise applications, including Salesforce-based workflows where applicable.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, end-to-end, SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.
- Analyze automation failures, perform root-cause analysis, and stabilize flaky or unreliable test cases.
- Generate and maintain execution reports using TestNG, Extent Reports, and Allure.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA engineers throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to automation standards, QA best practices, documentation, and continuous process improvement.

Technical Skills Programming - Java, Core Java, OOP concepts, exception handling, collections, reusable programming practices

Web Automation- Selenium WebDriver, browser automation, locators, synchronization, frames, windows, alerts,

cross-browser testing

Automation Frameworks - TestNG, Cucumber, BDD, Page Object Model, Hybrid Framework, Data-Driven Framework

Mobile Automation =Appium, iOS automation, Xcode, iOS Simulator; mobile workflow validation and troubleshooting

API Testing - Postman, REST APIs, HTTP methods, request/response validation,



JSON validation

Database - SQL, Oracle, SOQL, backend data validation and data integrity checks

CI/CD Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Maven, automated regression execution

Version Control - Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, branching, merging, conflict resolution.

MOBILE TESTING REQUIREMENTS

- Strong hands-on experience in mobile test automation, particularly iOS applications.
- Experience with Appium for automating mobile application workflows.
- Working knowledge of Xcode and iOS Simulator for test execution and debugging.
- Ability to identify mobile-specific automation challenges and create secure, maintainable test suites.
- Experience validating mobile UI flows, data, integrations, and end-to-end business workflows.
- Exposure to mobile regression execution through CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

SALESFORCE / ENTERPRISE APPLICATION TESTING(Not Mandate Good to have)

- Experience testing Salesforce-based applications and business workflows is preferred.
- Ability to validate application data using SOQL and backend queries.
- Experience integrating UI automation with database and API validation.
