Job Brief:

- AU Small Finance Bank Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our Sales department as a Senior Relationship Officer specializing in Gold Loan products. This role demands a strategic and customer-centric individual who can drive gold loan portfolio growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly in secured lending, and will be responsible for managing high-value customer accounts, assessing creditworthiness, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position plays a critical role in expanding the bank’s gold loan business while delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term client loyalty.





Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to promote gold loan products and services.
- Conduct thorough credit appraisals and risk assessments of gold loan applicants to ensure compliance with the bank’s lending policies.
- Manage the end-to-end gold loan process including documentation, valuation of gold assets, disbursal, and recovery.
- Collaborate with the valuation team to ensure accurate and timely assessment of gold collateral.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly gold loan sales targets by identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Provide expert guidance to clients on gold loan terms, interest rates, repayment schedules, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as credit, legal, and operations to streamline loan processing and resolve any client issues promptly.
- Monitor and manage the portfolio quality by tracking repayments, identifying potential defaults, and initiating recovery actions as necessary.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes impacting gold loan products to advise clients effectively.




- Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market insights for senior management review.
- Train and mentor junior relationship officers and sales staff to enhance team performance and product knowledge.
