Job Overview ​We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented R&D; Chemist (Cosmetics & Personal Care) with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in formulation development. In this role, you will lead the research, bench-scale formulation, stability testing, and scaling up of creams, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, and other personal care products. ​Key Responsibilities ​Formulation & Development: Design, formulate, and develop recent cosmetic and personal care products, including creams, lotions, gels, shampoos, conditioners, serums, and body washes. ​

Reformulation & Improvement: Modify existing formulations to improve stability, efficacy, sensory texture, and cost-efficiency. ​Product Testing: Conduct laboratory stability testing, pH measurement, viscosity testing, and microbiological parameter evaluations for new batches. ​Raw Material Evaluation: Source, evaluate, and test new cosmetic ingredients, active materials,



and raw additives from vendors. ​Scale-Up & Batch Transfer: Oversee pilot batch manufacturing and smooth transfer of formulations from R&D; bench scale to commercial production. ​

Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of formulation sheets, laboratory notebooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory documentation. ​Key Qualifications &

Skills ​Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cosmetics Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. ​Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in cosmetic or personal care product formulation (specifically creams, shampoos, conditioners, and lotions). ​Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of surfactants, emulsifiers, preservatives, active ingredients, rheology, and cosmetic chemistry principles. ​Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot formulation instability, texture issues, or phase separation. ​
