About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer (Part-time) to own quality across our web and/or mobile products. As a core part of our Engineering team, you will blend hands-on manual testing, robust automation, and modern AI-assisted testing practices to strengthen release confidence in a remote-first environment.

This role is ideal for a QA professional who takes real ownership of quality rather than just executing test cases — someone who partners closely with Product and Engineering to catch issues early, and who is curious about using AI to test smarter and faster. This is a great fit for someone who wants meaningful technical ownership without full-time hours, working alongside a team building next-generation AI-powered sustainability platforms.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

- Own end-to-end test planning and execution for new features, integrations, and production fixes.
- Build and maintain UI and API automation suites, keeping them stable, maintainable, and fast.
- Plan and execute manual testing (exploratory, regression, smoke) with explicit, actionable defect reporting.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and reduce flaky tests to improve suite reliability.




- Apply AI-assisted testing techniques (test generation, self-healing locators, visual checks, coverage suggestions) to accelerate quality work.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define acceptance criteria, shift quality left, and drive root-cause fixes.

What We're Looking For (Key Requirements) Must-Have

- 6–10 years of experience in QA roles within fast-paced, agile product teams.
- Strong manual testing fundamentals: test design, risk-based prioritization, and clear defect reporting.
- Hands-on automation experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright (or equivalent), plus one scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- API testing experience (Postman/Newman, RestAssured, Karate, pytest, or similar) with solid REST/HTTP fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and Git.
- Comfort using AI tools to improve testing speed, coverage, and productivity.
- Excellent written communication for async, remote collaboration.

Good to Have

- Experience with test management/defect tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, Xray).
- Familiarity with performance testing (k6, JMeter) and basic security/accessibility testing concepts.
- Exposure to cloud/container environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker).
- Visual regression and cross-browser/device testing experience.
- Mobile testing exposure (Android/iOS, Appium).
- Prior experience in sustainability/ESG, analytics, or data-heavy products.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
