Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Purchase / Procurement Executive with experience in industrial/manufacturing procurement. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, vendor development, negotiation and timely procurement of materials required for uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle procurement of chemicals, coal/fuel, grains-related consumables, packing materials, MRO items, engineering spares and other plant requirements.
- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate price, quality, credit terms and delivery schedules.
- Process Purchase Orders and ensure timely delivery as per plant requirements.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Engineering, Accounts and Quality for material requirements and specifications.
- Monitor market prices and maintain updated supplier/commodity databases.
- Ensure proper documentation of purchase orders, quotations, approvals and vendor records.
- Follow company procurement policies,



approval procedures and cost-control measures.
- Track pending orders and coordinate with vendors to avoid production interruptions.
- Support vendor performance evaluation and development of alternate sources.

Preferred Exposure

- Procurement experience in Ethanol, Distillery, Chemical, Grain Processing, Sugar, Food Processing or similar process industries.
- Hands-on exposure to procurement of industrial chemicals, coal/fuel, consumables, MRO and engineering materials.
- Positive negotiation, vendor management and commercial skills.

Qualification: Graduate / B.Com / BBA / MBA (Supply Chain/Procurement) preferred. Skills: Vendor Management | Negotiation | Cost Control | Market Analysis | Purchase Documentation | ERP/MIS | Excel | Commercial Acumen
