 Prepare, develop and revise PFDs, P&IDs;, UFDs and related process drawings for offshore oil & gas facilities (wellhead platforms, Riser Platforms, MOPU and FPSO) across FEED, detailed engineering and as- built phases.

 Work predominantly in AutoCAD / ZWCAD on P&IDs.;

 Incorporate process engineer and client redline markups accurately and on schedule; manage revision clouds, revision blocks and drawing registers for IDC, IFR, IFA and IFC issues.

 Maintain consistency of line numbers, equipment tags, valve tags and instrument tags across P&IDs;, line lists, equipment lists and instrument indices.

 Self-check drawings for process intent before issue: PFD-P&ID; consistency, drains and vents, bypasses, isolation philosophy, control valve fail positions, and PSV location, isolation and discharge routing.

 Carry out clean-up and consistency checks when converting hand markups or PDF drawings into CAD P&IDs;, and resolve line-number, service and instrument-connection errors.

 Apply client legend sheets, rule sets, layering and drafting standards; incorporate site as-built markups for brownfield and revamp work.

 Extract equipment lists, instrument tag lists and line lists from CAD P&ID; block attributes, as applicable.

Team & Project Responsibilities:

 Take ownership of P&ID; drafting quality and checking for the assigned drawing package.

 Guide and check the work of junior draftsmen; share standards, SOPs, templates and checklists to avoid rework.

 Coordinate with process engineers and with piping,



instrumentation and safety teams on drawing inputs, HAZOP markups and interface changes.

 Plan drawing workload against project milestones and manage multiple P&IDs; under tight deadlines.

 Follow document control, QA/QC and ISO procedures for drawing numbering, transmittals and records.

Qualifications Required

 Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering, or ITI Draughtsman (Mechanical) with equivalent industry experience.

 5-7 years of process drafting / P&ID; design experience in an EPC or engineering consultancy environment.

 Relevant offshore oil & gas project experience (any of wellhead platforms, riser platforms, processing platforms, MOPU or FPSO) and relevant onshore oil & gas project experience (any of early production systems, gas gathering stations or wellhead facilities) are mandatory.

 Advanced AutoCAD skills: layer management, blocks and attributes, templates, xrefs, plotting and custom linetypes.

 Hands-on experience preparing CAD-based P&IDs; (AutoCAD, ZWCAD, etc.).

 Sound knowledge of P&ID; symbology and tagging (ISA 5.1, ISO 10628) and client standards (e.g. ONGC, ADNOC, Shell DEP).

 Good understanding of process deliverables and how P&IDs; feed piping, instrumentation and HAZOP reviews.

Desired

 Block attribute management and data extraction.

 Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel, AutoLISP, Excel VBA or macros used to automate drafting tasks would be an added advantage.

 Familiarity with 3D models (SP3D / AVEVA E3D) and coordination with piping layout teams.
