About Raag Voyages

Raag Voyages is an inbound Destination Management Company (DMC) in India, specialising in curated India tours for French and European/US foreign tour operators (FTOs). We are building a dedicated new-business team and need an experienced operations professional to own the costing and programme design behind every proposal we send.

The role

You will be the operational brain behind our sales. When our Sales Coordinator receives an enquiry from a foreign agency or client, you turn it into an accurate, competitive, well-designed itinerary and a exact cost sheet, usually within 24 to 48 hours. Every proposal that reaches a client passes through you, so your accuracy directly affects both our win rate and our margins.

What you will do

- Design day-by-day itineraries for FITs and groups across India, balancing client requirements, logistics, and realistic travel times
- Prepare detailed costing for hotels, transport, guides, entrance fees, activities, and permits, with correct margins built in
- Negotiate and maintain rates with hotels, transporters, and ground partners across destinations
- Keep a live rate database, updating it for seasons, festivals, and price changes
- Suggest alternatives (hotels, routes, inclusions) when a client's budget or dates don't fit




- Work with the Sales Coordinator on revisions and client queries, and with Directors on pricing strategy for larger or strategic quotes
- Update the FMS tracker so every quote's status is visible
- Hand confirmed bookings over to the ticketing and reservations team with complete, clean documentation

Must-have requirements

- Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in inbound tour operations, costing, or itinerary design, at a DMC or inbound tour operator
- Proven experience costing multi-city India itineraries for foreign clients or foreign tour operators
- Strong working knowledge of India's tourism circuits (Golden Triangle, Rajasthan, South India, Yoga Tours, etc.) and their seasonality
- Established relationships with, or strong knowledge of, hotels and ground suppliers in key destinations
- Advanced Excel skills (costing sheets, formulas, currency conversion)
- Good written English

Good to have

- Familiarity with FTO and B2B pricing structures (net rates, commissions, group vs FIT pricing)
- Knowledge of French
