Role & responsibilities

Responsible for managing supplier quality for Engine/Powertrain/Driveline components, ensuring suppliers meet APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949 and OEM quality requirements. The role involves supplier audits, new product development quality, process validation, 8D/CAPA, root-cause analysis, defect reduction, and monitoring supplier performance.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: BE / B.Tech (Full-time, with no academic gaps)
- Experience: 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in Powertrain, Driveline or Engine components
- Prior experience in the Automotive Industry, preferably in Supplier Quality
- Hands-on experience with Powertrain/Driveline components such as Engine, Transmission, Clutch, Differential, Axle, Propeller Shaft, Driveshaft, Gearbox and CV Joints




- Strong experience in Supplier APQP & PPAP
- Experience in Supplier Process Audits, Supplier Development and Quality Improvement
- Positive understanding of PFD, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA and SPC
- Proficiency in 8D, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Experience in monitoring and improving Supplier PPM, Rejection and Warranty Quality
- Exposure to New Product Development (NPD), Product Launch and Process Validation
- Strong cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchase and Suppliers
