Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end interior design projects, from concept development and space planning to detailed design and installation oversight. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients to understand their needs, preparing design proposals, developing construction drawings, selecting FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and coordinating with vendors and contractors. The role also involves guiding junior designers, ensuring design quality, and maintaining project timelines and budgets.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Chennai,



with a combination of in office work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Strong interior design and space planning skills, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically compelling layouts.
- Knowledge of architecture principles and experience collaborating with architectural and construction teams.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed construction drawings and documentation for execution.
- Experience in FF&E; selection, including sourcing, specification, and coordination of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Advanced skills in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D visualization tools) and MS Office.
- Proven experience managing residential interior projects from concept to completion, ideally in a senior or lead role.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and presentation abilities, with strong attention to detail and time management.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
