Job Summary

We are looking for a SolidWorks Design Engineer with 3-6+years of experience in 2D/3D mechanical design, GD&T;, automotive plastics, NPD, and SPM design. The candidate should have solid hands-on experience in SolidWorks and be capable of developing detailed designs and engineering drawings from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Design and modify automotive plastic components, assemblies, and related tooling/fixtures.
- Prepare detailed drawings with GD&T;, dimensions, tolerances, and engineering specifications.
- Work on New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept/design through production.
- Design Special Purpose Machines (SPM), jigs, fixtures, and automation-related components.
- Perform design changes based on DFM/DFA,



manufacturing and customer requirements.
- Review designs for manufacturability, assembly, functionality, and cost effectiveness.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, tooling, quality, and production teams for design validation and implementation.
- Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and engineering changes.
- Maintain design documentation, BOMs, drawings, and revision records.
