Role Description The Senior Counselor is a full time, on-site role based at the ISBS campus in Gurugram. The role involves counseling prospective students and their families about academic programs, admission criteria, and career pathways, guiding them through the entire admission lifecycle from inquiry to enrolment.

The Senior

Counselor will handle inbound and outbound counseling calls, email and walk-in queries, conduct campus tours, and participate in admission events, seminars, and outreach activities. This position includes maintaining accurate records of leads and conversions, coordinating with the admissions, academic,



and marketing teams, and preparing regular reports on counseling and enrolment activities.

The Senior

Counselor is expected to build strong relationships with schools, colleges, and partners, support marketing campaigns, and contribute to achieving enrolment targets while ensuring a positive applicant experience.

Qualifications

- Counseling and advisory skills, including student guidance, needs assessment, and career counseling capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Relationship-building and stakeholder management skills for engaging with students, families, schools, and corporate partners.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple inquiries, events, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Basic data and CRM skills for managing leads, tracking conversions, and generating reports on counseling and admissions activities.
- Knowledge of business education programs and current trends in management and higher education; prior experience in academic counseling or admissions is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a postgraduate degree in management, counseling, education, or a related field is an advantage.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and a student-centric mindset, with willingness to work flexible hours during peak admission periods.
