Position Description: Cloud Security Engineer (L2 )

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer (L2 ) with hands-on experience in Cloud Security Engineering, Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, and Security Automation across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing cloud platforms, managing vulnerabilities, and driving security improvements. Automation experience is highly desirable to improve operational efficiency and streamline security processes.

The role also requires ownership of security governance discussions and stakeholder management across technology and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and maintain cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

- Manage IAM, privileged access, encryption, secrets management, and cloud security configurations.

- Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk prioritization, remediation tracking, and compliance reporting.

- Monitor cloud environments for threats, vulnerabilities, and security misconfigurations.

- Investigate and respond to security incidents, alerts, and threat findings.

- Perform log analysis, threat hunting, and security event investigations.

- Secure cloud workloads, containers, and Kubernetes environments.

- Collaborate with application, platform, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to remediate security risks.

- Develop or maintain automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to streamline security operations.

- Support automation of vulnerability reporting, compliance checks, security monitoring, and remediation workflows.

- Contribute to DevSecOps and security integration initiatives within CI/CD pipelines.

- Work closely with SOC,



DevOps, Platform, Infrastructure, and Application teams to drive security improvements.

- Lead and facilitate security governance calls with various stakeholder teams to review vulnerabilities, risks, remediation status, SLA adherence, and security compliance requirements.

- Track, report, and escalate security risks, remediation delays, and policy exceptions to relevant stakeholders.

- Support audit, compliance, and regulatory security requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security services.

- Strong understanding of IAM, cloud networking, security architecture, and data protection.

- Experience in Vulnerability Management, including remediation coordination and risk-based prioritization.

- Experience in Security Operations, incident response, and threat detection.

- Knowledge of security tools such as Defender for Cloud, Security Hub, Wazuh, Qualys, Symantec, or equivalent.

- Exposure to SIEM, EDR, CSPM, CNAPP, or SOAR platforms.

- Understanding of container and Kubernetes security.

- Basic to intermediate scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

- Solid communication, stakeholder management, and governance experience.

Work Conditions

- Hybrid working in client office as per the client business hours policy.

- Support in non-business hours and weekends in case of tools outage or emergency troubleshooting.

- Support in non-business hours and weekends for maintenance window with compensatory hours.
