nJob Purpose

nLead and implement advanced test automation strategies to ensure high‑quality, scalable, and secure software solutions across enterprise platforms. The role focuses on building robust automation frameworks, integrating continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines, and driving quality engineering practices across squads.

nKey Responsibilities

n

n
- Test Automation : Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks (UI, API, integration). Build reusable assets including test scripts, utilities, and data frameworks.
n
- CI/CD Integration : Embed automated testing into pipelines, enabling regression and smoke testing on code commits. Provide visibility through dashboards and reporting.
n
- API & Microservices Testing : Automate RESTful API and microservices validation (payloads, status codes, authentication, error handling).

Ensure backend stability.

- Quality Engineering Leadership : Define QE standards, mentor junior engineers, and promote shift‑left testing. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects.
n
- Test Strategy & Planning : Develop strategies covering functional, regression, integration, and E2E testing. Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and automation scripts.
n
- Defect Management : Identify, log, track, and manage defects.





Provide actionable insights and quality metrics (coverage, pass/fail rates, leakage, automation effectiveness).

- Non‑Functional Testing : Support performance, security, and resilience testing. Contribute to automation of performance scripts and monitoring.

nMinimum Requirements

nEducation

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
n

nExperience

n

n
- 6–10+ years in Software Quality Engineering
n
- Proven automation testing experience in enterprise environments
n
- Strong background in Agile delivery models
n

n

nTechnical Skills

n

- Automation Tools : Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright
n
- API Testing : Postman, RestAssured, Karate
n
- Programming : Java, C#, Python, JavaScript
n
- Frameworks : BDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow), TestNG/JUnit, data‑driven frameworks
n
- DevOps/CI/CD : Azure DevOps, GitHub pipeline integration
n
- Other : SQL/database testing, cloud‑native/microservices, Docker/Kubernetes (advantageous)
