Applied AI Engineer – Agentic AI / RAG

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of complex multi-step reasoning chains and agentic RAG pipelines using LangGraph and structured output patterns.
- Architect and implement AI safeguard mechanisms, including prompt injection defense, hallucination mitigation, and context-window management across AI agents.
- Serve as a technical reference for Applied AI Engineers in Hyderabad by conducting code reviews, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering standards.
- Integrate AI components with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable agents to access shared, grounded knowledge bases and generate reliable, auditable outputs.
- Collaborate with Germany-based AETHER teams to integrate AI services into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring deployment, observability, and compliance with EU AI Act and DORA requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize prompt strategies, retrieval mechanisms, and model configurations to improve agent accuracy, latency, and reliability at enterprise scale.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science,



Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 5–15 years of overall experience, with strong hands-on experience building production AI/ML systems.
- Expert-level Python programming skills.
- Strong practical experience with LangGraph, Agentic RAG architectures, and structured output design patterns.
- Proven experience implementing AI safety and quality mechanisms, including:
- Prompt injection defense
- Hallucination mitigation
- Context-window management
- Strong understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and LLM orchestration patterns.
- Experience with foundation models such as Anthropic Claude.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience working with cloud environments; GCP preferred.
- Strong understanding of enterprise AI deployment, observability, and reliability.

Nice to Have

- Experience working in regulated industries, particularly financial services.
- Knowledge of EU AI Act and DORA requirements.
- Experience with GitHub Actions.
- Experience collaborating with global engineering teams.
