Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This position is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, including responding to inquiries, conducting information sessions, and providing clear program details. The counselor will evaluate applications, conduct interviews, and make recommendations aligned with admissions criteria and institutional goals.

Daily responsibilities include nurturing leads, managing follow-ups via phone, email, and in-person meetings, and maintaining accurate records in admissions systems. The role also involves collaborating with academic and marketing teams to support outreach events,



represent Masters’ Union at fairs and workshops, and contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment and admissions processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to engage effectively with diverse prospective students and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide responsive, empathetic support throughout the admissions journey.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert qualified leads, manage pipelines, and meet enrollment targets ethically and transparently.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of the Education sector and student lifecycle to advise applicants accurately about programs and career outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a postgraduate degree in business, education, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in admissions, counseling, or student recruitment, ideally in higher education or professional programs.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple priorities, and use CRM or admissions software and common productivity tools.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusive admissions practices.
