Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage all aspects of our accounting and finance operations. This is a critical replacement role for our current finance head, so the bar is set high we need someone who can step in and run the department with minimal supervision and zero errors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain full sets of accounts
- Handle day to day bookkeeping and financial records
- Prepare and file GST, TDS and other statutory returns
- Manage cash flow, payments, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management
- Coordinate with CA as and when required
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable laws
- Identify and fix and discrepancies without any delay

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA inter preferred but not mandatory)
- Minimum 8-9 years of relevant accounting experience
- Expert level proficiency in Busy, Tally, Excel (Bonus if you know Zoho)
- Solid knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian Tax laws
- MUST know everything about importing
- Highly responsible and capable of working independently
