Senior Accountant – Real Estate / Builder & Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant for a Real Estate Developer based in Thane.

The candidate should be capable of independently handling and taking complete control of the day-to-day accounts and providing periodic financial and management reports to the management.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete day-to-day accounting in Tally
- Ledger scrutiny and reconciliation
- GST working, reconciliation and compliance support
- TDS working and related compliance
- Bank Reconciliation
- Monitoring Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP)
- Preparing periodic Receivable & Payable Reports for management
- Project-wise accounting and cost tracking
- Monitoring expenses and vendor balances project-wise
- Providing required accounting data and schedules to the RERA Consultant
- Coordinating with management, consultants and other professionals for accounting and compliance requirements
- Assisting in monthly/year-end accounts finalisation




- Ensuring books of accounts are complete, accurate and updated

Candidate Profile ✔ Strong practical knowledge of Tally

✔ Good knowledge of GST & TDS workings

✔ Strong ledger scrutiny and reconciliation skills

✔ Ability to independently handle accounts and take ownership of the accounting function

✔ Should be capable of preparing AR, AP and Project-wise Costing Reports

✔ Positive working knowledge of MS Excel

✔ Candidates with accounting experience in the Real Estate / Builder & Developer industry will be preferred

✔ Understanding of RERA-related accounting data requirements will be an added advantage

We need someone who can go beyond routine accounting entries and provide management with clear, periodic information about receivables, payables, project costs and the overall status of accounts.

Immediate/ Early Joiners Preferred

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
