About The Role

It's a 100% remote, full-time position.

Search is changing. People still Google, but more and more, they ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode, and act on whatever those answers say. For B2B tech companies, being the brand those answers mention and cite now matters as much as ranking number one on Google.

We are looking for an enterprising mate who already knows their way around Omnichannel SEO & Generative Engine Optimization and can take ownership of organic growth for our clients from strategy to execution and results.

As an SEO Executive at ZeroAdo, you will own SEO and GEO workstreams, including:

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

- Building SEO strategies and roadmaps tied to client business goals: traffic and lead generation
- Keyword and topic research, search intent mapping, topic clusters, content calendars and briefs
- On-page SEO: including titles, meta, headings, internal linking, and schema markup
- Technical SEO audits and fixes: including crawlability, indexation, site architecture, migrations, page speed, and Core Web Vitals, working with developers to get them shipped
- Link building, digital PR, and off-page strategy
- Performance tracking, analysis, and monthly reporting

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) & AI Visibility

- Setting up and running AI visibility tracking across AI search engines including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini,



Claude, Copilot, and Google AI Overviews / AI Mode
- Building prompt sets that mirror how real buyers ask questions in AI search and then creating and executing a roadmap to improve and track brand mentions, citations, and visibility across relevant buyer prompts
- Measuring AI share of voice against competitors, and working out which brands AI recommends instead, and why
- Finding the sources AI engines rely on (Reddit, G2, Wikipedia, YouTube, industry publications, review sites, listicles) and building a plan for our brands to earn a presence there
- Structuring and optimizing content so AI can easily pull from it and quote it: including direct answers, AEO blocks, FAQs, comparison tables, clear definitions, and original data
- Making sure AI crawlers can access client sites (robots.txt, rendering, llms.txt)
- Brand entity work: including keeping company information consistent across the website, LinkedIn, Crunchbase, Wikidata, and directories

Content Operations & Client Management

- Creating and optimizing SEO and GEO content, such as blogs, landing pages, and website copy,
- Working with our team of content creators on briefs, feedback, and content refreshes
- Managing CMS & Website SEO: including WordPress, Webflow, & Framer
- Client communication: presenting reports, explaining what moved and why, and recommending what's next
- Documenting processes and improving our internal SEO and GEO playbooks

Tools You Should Be Comfortable With

Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, PageSpeed Insights, Looker Studio, and Google Sheets, plus hands-on use of ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude.

Experience with AI visibility tools like Ahrefs Brand Radar, Profound, Peec AI, Searchable, or similar is a plus.

Prerequisites to Apply

- At least 1 year of hands-on SEO + GEO experience, at an agency, in-house, or on your own projects. We care more about what you've achieved than the number of years.
- Proof of results: including rankings, traffic, and conversions you've grown.
- Solid grasp of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO and awareness of industry trends.
- Knowledge about how AI answer engines work and you've already experimented with getting brands visible in them.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills. You can explain SEO to a client without jargon.
- Comfortable working with large datasets in Google Sheets and building reports in Looker Studio.
- No formal degree is required. We value knowledge over education.

Schedule

45-ish hour work week.

Monday-Friday · 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM IST, with one hour of versatile breaks during the day
