Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Scientific Content Strategist & Creative Copywriter with experience in FMCG, beauty/personal care, consumer healthcare, OTC/pharma, or related industries.

The candidate will work closely with R&D;, Clinical, Formulation, Brand Marketing, Legal and Regulatory teams to convert complex scientific and technical information into engaging, consumer-friendly content across digital and multimedia platforms.

The ideal candidate should combine scientific understanding, creative copywriting, digital content expertise, and regulatory awareness.

Preferred candidate profile

- Translate formulation chemistry, clinical data, ingredient information and product USPs into engaging consumer-facing content.
- Develop creative scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, long-form videos and digital campaigns.
- Create educational content including ingredient explainers, "Myth vs Science" content, carousels and product stories.
- Develop scripts and voiceover briefs for TVCs, digital AVs, corporate videos and product education materials.
- Create LinkedIn and B2B thought-leadership content related to innovation, sustainability, clinical developments and scientific advancements.
- Work closely with R&D; and clinical teams to understand product claims, active ingredients and proof-of-performance data.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, 3D animators, video editors, agencies and production teams.
- Ensure all marketing communication remains aligned with substantiated claims and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Work with Legal and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance.




- Maintain consistency in brand voice across B2C, B2B, social media and multimedia communication.

Required Skills

- Strong Creative Copywriting & Content Writing skills.
- Excellent short-form video scripting ability.
- Strong understanding of FMCG, personal care, beauty, healthcare or OTC/pharma communication.
- Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for consumers.
- Knowledge of cosmetic/dermatological terminology and clinical testing concepts.
- Understanding of claims substantiation and regulatory compliance.
- Solid storytelling and narrative development skills.
- Experience working with designers, animators, editors and production teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Required Experience
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in copywriting, creative content, scientific communication or technical content.
- Experience in FMCG, Personal Care, Beauty, Consumer Healthcare, OTC or Pharma is preferred.
- Proven portfolio across social media, digital campaigns, video scripts, B2C and/or B2B content.
- Hands-on experience developing short-form video scripts and working with production teams.

Educational Qualification Bachelor's or Master's degree in:

- Cosmetic Technology
- Chemistry
- Biochemistry
- Life Sciences
- Pharmacy
- Or another relevant discipline
