Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze and migrate existing SAS applications, jobs, macros, libraries, and reporting workloads.
- Support migration of SAS workloads to modern SAS-compatible platforms.
- Validate SAS programs, procedures, data processing, reporting, and business rules.
- Participate in data modernization initiatives using Databricks, Spark, PySpark, Python, and SQL.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing workflows.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, testing, and UAT support.
- Identify migration issues, dependencies, and opportunities for modernization.
- Optimize data processing performance and resource utilization.
- Develop automation utilities and support CI/CD processes.
- Support deployment,



production stabilization, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience with SAS Base, SAS Macros, Data Step, SAS Procedures, SAS Batch Processing, Enterprise Guide, and SAS Reporting.
- Experience with Databricks, Spark/PySpark, SQL, and cloud data platforms.
- Strong Linux and shell scripting experience.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge.
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, PostgreSQL, or Hadoop-based platforms.
- Understanding of Data Warehousing, Lakehouse Architecture, ETL/ELT, and Data Modernization.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, and automation tools.

Positive to Have:

- Experience with Altair SLC or other SAS-compatible platforms.
- Experience in healthcare, medical claims, or pharmacy claims domains.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
