MailerMen is hiring a SAP Technical Business Analyst to act as the bridge between the SAP and ERP teams and the Data and Analytics teams on an S/4HANA supply chain landscape. SAP S/4HANA is the ERP system that records how a business buys, makes, stores and ships goods, and the figures it holds are the source for most downstream supply chain reporting. The role makes sure that what the business asks for is written down precisely enough for both sides to build from, and that the data arriving in reporting and analytics matches what SAP actually holds.

You will work with stakeholders across supply chain, procurement, manufacturing and logistics to elicit and document functional requirements and acceptance criteria, then translate those requirements and the underlying SAP business logic into technical specifications that ERP and Data and Analytics teams can build from.

Much of the work sits in the data layer: designing and validating data models and mappings from S/4HANA source tables such as EKKO and EKPO for purchasing documents, MARA and MARC for material master, MATDOC for material documents, AUFK and AFKO for production orders, and MDPS and MDEZ for planning, through to the downstream reporting schemas that consume them.

You will develop and maintain SAP CDS Views, the Core Data Services views that expose S/4HANA data for reporting, and advise on Virtual Data Model (VDM) layering, the SAP convention of building from Basic views up through Composite and Cube views to Consumption views. Data validation is a central part of the role, so that source data in SAP reconciles with the outputs built on top of it. You will support user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles by preparing test cases, coordinating end users, managing defects and driving sign-off, work alongside SAP functional and configuration teams, ABAP developers and Data and Analytics engineers on Azure, Databricks and ETL, and maintain documentation covering requirements, technical specifications, data lineage and test cases.

This is a contract engagement of three to six months, worked remotely from anywhere in India.





Compensation is ₹800 – ₹900 per hour, depending on experience, plus GST. Working hours are 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST. The role calls for 6+ years of experience. Fluency in English is expected, since all teams work internationally and English is the standard working language.

Responsibilities

- Prepare test cases and coordinate end users through UAT cycles.
- Manage defects raised during UAT and drive them through to sign-off.
- Collaborate with SAP functional and configuration teams, ABAP developers and Data and Analytics engineers working on Azure, Databricks and ETL.




- Produce and maintain documentation covering requirements, technical specifications, data lineage and test cases.
- Present progress, findings and data issues to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in data quality, reporting completeness and integration patterns.

Requirements

- 6+ years of strong functional and technical experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Working knowledge of S/4HANA supply chain modules, particularly MM, PP, SD and WM or EWM.
- Solid understanding of S/4HANA core data structures and how they feed downstream reporting and analytics.
- Hands-on experience with SAP CDS Views and Virtual Data Model (VDM) layering.
- Proven technical business analysis skills, including turning business requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Supply chain domain experience is required.
- Experience leading data validation and reconciliation between SAP source data and downstream outputs.
- Experience supporting UAT cycles, including test case preparation, end-user coordination and defect management.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English, as all teams work internationally and English is the standard working language.
- Familiarity with the Azure data platform, Databricks or similar data lake technologies is an advantage, as is exposure to BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Azure Synapse.
- Exposure to ABAP, an SAP S/4HANA certification, and experience with Agile delivery methodologies and the SAP Activate framework are advantages.
