Job Summary:

An ABAP Developer with 5+ years of experience is expected to design, develop, test, and implement SAP modules, ensuring system optimization and performance tuning. They should possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in ABAP and related technologies, and excellent communication abilities. Candidate should collaborate closely with end-users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain SAP Applications: Requirement gathering, design, develop, test, debug, and implement SAP modules using ABAP programming language. Should be able to deliver the solution quickly and independently.

Technical Specifications: Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.

System Optimization: Ensure optimization and performance tuning of SAP applications.

Collaboration: Work closely with functional/end user teams to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues during development and implementation.

Documentation: Document each aspect of a system or application for future reference and maintenance.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with SAP system architectural standards during development.





User Support: Train and support SAP end-users, ensuring they understand how to use the recent or updated applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in ABAP development.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in all RICEF objects, strong debugging experience, working knowledge in customized programs, Smartforms/ Adobe, SICF, SAP UI5, Java script, Standard program debugging, SAP Note implementation, Background job monitoring and process understanding module wise (HR/MM/PP/SD/FI/CO/PM).

Project Involvement: Experience in project work for various SAP modules and cooperation with multiple development teams

System: SAP S4 HANA

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication: Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education: A relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is often preferred.

Optional Skills:

Preferred knowledge in Automobile / Manufacturing Industry.
