We Are Hiring: Sales Managers – PVC & Engineering Plastics Additives

Location: Mumbai, Chennai or Delhi, India

Altek India is part of Altek International, a global specialty chemical organization serving customers across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe.

As part of our continued expansion in India, we are looking for experienced and commercially driven Sales Managers to develop our PVC and Engineering Plastics Additives businesses across key regional markets.

The positions will focus on developing business with PVC and engineering plastics manufacturers, compounders and processors, offering a comprehensive portfolio of specialty chemicals and performance additives.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new business with PVC compounders, pipe and profile manufacturers, cable manufacturers, engineering plastics compounders and other polymer processors.
- Promote our PVC additives portfolio, including impact modifiers, processing aids, PE waxes, oxidized PE waxes, metallic stearates and CPE, as well as engineering plastics additives, including flame retardants and specialty performance additives.
- Identify new customers, applications and business opportunities across assigned territories.
- Work closely with customers' technical, procurement and production teams to understand their requirements and provide suitable solutions.




- Coordinate technical and commercial support with Altek's global team and international principals.
- Prepare sales forecasts, market intelligence and strategic account development plans.
- Build long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.

Candidate Profile
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Technology or a related technical discipline.
- Proven sales or business development experience in PVC additives, engineering plastics or polymer compounding.
- Robust knowledge of PVC formulations, engineering plastics applications and the Indian polymer industry.
- Established relationships with PVC manufacturers, compounders, engineering plastics processors and other polymer industry customers are preferred.
- Strong techno-commercial, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, Mumbai, Chennai or Delhi.
