Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Officer to ensure a safe and healthy working environment across our manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for implementing workplace safety programs, ensuring statutory compliance, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, 1948 and all applicable EHS regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and workplace risk assessments.
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure implementation and monitoring of PPE compliance across departments.
- Organize safety training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
- Develop and maintain safety procedures, SOPs, and emergency response plans.
- Coordinate fire safety inspections, mock drills, and emergency preparedness activities.




- Maintain statutory records and prepare compliance reports for regulatory authorities.
- Monitor contractor safety and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Promote behavioral safety initiatives and continuous improvement in workplace safety.
- Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and external agencies on safety-related matters.

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering industries.
