- Engineer has to : Develop and customize Linux distributions using Yocto/OpenEmbedded. Create and maintain BSPs, device trees, kernel configurations, and bootloaders. Integrate robotics hardware such as: LiDAR Cameras IMUs Encoders Motor controllers Industrial I/O devices Enable and optimize ROS2 middleware for robotic applications. Develop low-level drivers and middleware interfaces. Optimize system boot time, memory footprint, power consumption, and real-time performance. Support board bring-up, hardware validation, and debugging. Containerize robotics workloads using Docker where applicable. Collaborate with AI, perception, navigation, and controls teams. Implement CI/CD pipelines for Yocto image generation and software validation. Support deployment and OTA update mechanisms.
