RMS & Back Office Executive – Proprietary Trading Desk

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented RMS & Back Office Executive to monitor real-time risk, reconcile trades, track margins, prepare reports and coordinate with traders, brokers and clearing members.

Versatile working hours are required, including morning shifts for NSE/BSE/MCX and evening shifts for MCX, depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor positions, exposure, margins, funds, MTM, P&L; and risk limits.
- Track delta-neutral and hedged positions, option Greeks and hedge ratios.
- Escalate margin shortfalls, excessive exposure and unhedged positions.
- Reconcile trades, positions, funds, margins, collateral, brokerage and charges.
- Verify trade files, contract notes and settlement details.
- Prepare daily RMS, reconciliation and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with traders, brokers and clearing members.
- Track expiries, contract specifications and exchange updates.
- Maintain accurate operational and risk records.

Requirements




- 1–4 years of experience in RMS, trading operations, derivatives or broking back office preferred.
- Knowledge of Futures & Options, delta-neutral strategies, hedging, MTM and margins.
- Proficiency in Excel, reconciliations and numerical analysis.
- Familiarity with trading terminals and broker RMS systems.
- Solid attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during market hours, expiry days and volatile periods.
- Flexibility to work morning or evening shifts, including MCX operations.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with proprietary trading desks, brokers or institutional trading setups.
- Knowledge of NSE, BSE and MCX trading and settlement processes.
- Advanced Excel or basic Python skills.
