- Develop novel organic synthesis routes to create target molecules or materials.

- Optimize reaction conditions to enhance yield, purity, and efficiency.

- Scale up laboratory processes for potential industrial production.

- Data Analysis and Documentation:

- Accurately record experimental procedures, data, and results in laboratory notebooks.

- Analyse and interpret experimental data using software tools and statistical methods.

- Prepare detailed reports and technical documents summarizing research findings.

- Safety and Compliance:

- Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

- Handle hazardous materials and chemicals according to regulatory standards.

- Stay current with industry regulations, safety procedures, and best practices.

- Collaboration:

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including chemists, engineers,



and researchers.

- Share findings and insights through regular team meetings and presentations.

- Literature Review:

- Order and manage laboratory supplies and chemicals as needed.

Qualifications

- A MSc or Ph.D. or M.Pharm in Organic Chemistry or a related field is typically required, though some positions may accept candidates with a master s degree and relevant experience.

- Strong knowledge of organic chemistry principles, reaction mechanisms, and spectroscopy techniques.

- Proficiency in laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and data analysis tools.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project goals.

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality research records.

- Effective communication skills for presenting findings, collaborating with teams, and writing reports.

- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a laboratory setting.
