Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Research Physician.

The Research

Physician will design and contribute to clinical and translational research studies that support AI-driven health tech solutions, including protocol development, data interpretation, and medical validation of AI models, lead regulatory approvals, grant writing, develop and lead institutional partnerships to co-develop novel health tech / med tech products/ services, bring sponsorships/ investments into the organization to fund new product and services initiatives. Daily responsibilities include reviewing medical literature, collaborating with data science and engineering teams, advising on clinical endpoints and study design, and ensuring that research activities align with ethical and regulatory standards. The role also involves providing clinical insights for product development,



reviewing de-identified clinical data, and supporting the preparation of manuscripts, reports, and presentations.

The Research

Physician will participate in virtual meetings, maintain clear documentation, and communicate complex medical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical background in Medicine, with experience in Chronic diseases, and or rare diseases.
- Proficiency in Research and Clinical Research, including study design, data analysis, and interpretation of medical literature.
- Experience of leading regulatory approvals for research grants and grant writing
- Experience of developing and leading institutional partnerships to co-develop novel health tech / med tech products/ services, bring sponsorships/ investments into the organization to fund recent product and services initiatives.
- Hands-on Laboratory Skills or familiarity with clinical laboratory workflows that support research activities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, data scientists, and engineers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for scientific documentation and cross-functional communication.
- Experience or strong interest in health technology, AI applications in healthcare, or digital health solutions.
- Understanding of ethical and regulatory considerations in clinical research and data use.
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with valid clinical training; prior research publications or industry research experience is an advantage.
