Role Description This is a full time, on-site Research Development Mechanical Engineer role based in Secunderābād. The role involves designing and developing mechanical systems and components for railway and related transportation applications, including machine design, assemblies, and structural elements.

The engineer will conduct research, feasibility studies, and performance analyses to support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives. Daily activities include preparing detailed 3D models and engineering drawings,



collaborating with cross-functional teams (electrical, electronics, and manufacturing), and supporting prototyping, testing, and validation. The role also includes documenting technical findings, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and providing engineering support during production and field deployment.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, including knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Research and Development (R&D;) and Research activities, with the ability to design experiments, analyze results, and derive actionable insights.
- Experience in Machine Design, including component sizing, stress analysis, and reliability considerations.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, and performance optimization.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience with CAD/CAE tools (e.g., SolidWorks, solid edge and Catia) and familiarity with engineering standards and tolerances.
- Knowledge of railway, transportation, or heavy-duty vehicle systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Attention to detail, commitment to safety and quality, and willingness to work on-site in Secunderābād.
