Job Responsibilities:

- Lead development of current cosmetic and personal care formulations (skincare, haircare, herbal products, etc.)

- Design innovative, stable, and cost-effective formulations

- Optimize and upgrade existing products based on market trends and performance

- Manage end-to-end product development from concept to commercialization

- Conduct stability studies, compatibility testing, and validation

- Handle scale-up and technology transfer from lab to production

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (BIS, FDA, GMP, ISO, etc.)

- Evaluate and approve raw materials, vendors, and new ingredients

- Troubleshoot formulation and production-related issues

- Coordinate with production, quality, packaging, and marketing teams

- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and formulation records

- Guide and mentor junior R&D; team members

- Stay updated with latest cosmetic trends, ingredients,



and innovations

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulations (cream, lotion, serum, gel, shampoo, conditioner, etc.)

- Expertise in emulsions, surfactants, preservatives, and actives

- Hands-on experience in stability testing and shelf-life evaluation

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and documentation

- Leadership and team management skills

Qualification:

- M.tech / B.tech in cosmetic

- Diploma or certification in Cosmetic Technology

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in herbal / ayurvedic product development

- Knowledge of international regulations (if export-oriented)

- Experience handling audits and certifications
