Position Overview

The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control processes within the organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies, while leading efforts to continuously improve quality practices throughout the construction lifecycle. Additionally, you will manage and mentor the QA/QC team, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

- Quality Management System Development: Establish, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001.
- Quality Assurance Oversight: Develop and execute quality assurance plans to ensure that all construction activities meet the specified requirements and standards.
- Quality Control Implementation: Conduct regular inspections and audits of materials, processes, and products to verify compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
- Team Management: Oversee and mentor the QA/QC team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective implementation of quality processes. Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management review.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are integrated into all phases of construction. Facilitate communication regarding quality issues and solutions.
- Training and Development:



Provide training and guidance to project staff on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices. Foster a culture of quality awareness and accountability within the team.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance quality management processes, reduce defects, and optimize project outcomes.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards throughout the construction process.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to address quality-related concerns and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.

*Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing quality management systems and processes.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address quality issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma) are a plus.

Job Type: Full time Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
