Shree Research is Hiring: Quantitative Researcher (Jaipur)

We're growing our quantitative research team and looking for a curious, data-driven Quantitative Researcher to join us full-time in Jaipur. Our work is focused on the derivatives segment across equity and commodities, including their counterparts on global exchanges. In this role, you'll work closely with our Fund Manager to design, develop and test systematic trading strategies, using the latest data science and AI tools to move from idea to insight quickly and rigorously.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Idea Generation: Explore and test current trading hypotheses and signals using market, derivatives and alternative data across equity and commodity markets.

Strategy Development: Convert research ideas into well-structured, reproducible code and reliable backtests that account for real-world costs, margins and constraints.

Rigorous Testing: Use sound statistical methods, stay alert to overfitting and data leakage, and openly share what doesn't work as much as what does.

AI & Machine Learning: Bring in ML, NLP and LLM-based techniques wherever they meaningfully improve research quality or automation.

Clear Communication: Share your findings through well-written reports and visuals that make sense to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR A solid foundation in statistics, time-series analysis and quantitative finance.





Hands-on experience building AI agents to automate parts of the research workflow.

Strong programming skills, with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) preferred; knowledge of C++ is a plus.

Good working knowledge of SQL; exposure to PyTorch or TensorFlow is an added advantage.

Good understanding of futures and options, including pricing, volatility and derivatives trading strategies.

Familiarity with portfolio construction and risk analytics; knowledge of Indian equity and commodity derivatives markets will be valued.

Strong analytical thinking, intellectual honesty and the ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and in conversation.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

At least 2 years of experience in quantitative research, systematic trading or data science. Outstanding freshers with strong project work are also encouraged to apply.

A degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, computer science or any related quantitative discipline.
