Job Purpose

Responsible for managing and improving Quality Assurance, Quality Control and QMS activities, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, customer requirements and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement, maintain and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer, statutory, regulatory and internal quality requirements.
- Manage incoming, in-process and final inspection activities.
- Prepare, review and control quality documents, SOPs, work instructions, formats and records.
- Plan and participate in internal, customer, certification and external audits.
- Identify and close NCs, audit observations, CAPA and corrective actions with effectiveness verification.
- Handle customer complaints, RCA, corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor quality KPIs and support management review activities.
- Ensure calibration, document control, traceability and record-retention requirements.
- Drive quality improvement,



process standardization and defect reduction initiatives.
- Conduct QMS and quality awareness training for employees.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchase and other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Support development and improvement of quality systems and processes.
- For Quality Manager/Head : lead the Quality team, audits, customer interactions, QMS implementation and cross-functional improvement projects.

Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Experience
- 315 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, QMS or Compliance.
- Candidates will be considered for Engineer/Sr. Engineer or Quality Manager/Head level based on experience, skills and overall suitability.
- Experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
- Candidates from Automobile / Tier-1 / Tier-2 OEM / Automotive industry will be preferred.
