As we strengthen our Quality function, we are looking for a Quality Engineer who can work closely with Production, Engineering, Suppliers and Customers to maintain product quality, resolve quality issues and continuously improve manufacturing processes.

This is a hands-on Quality role for a candidate who enjoys working on the shop floor, analysing problems, implementing corrective actions and ensuring that quality systems are effectively followed.

About the Role

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting and improving the organization's Quality Management System, product/process quality, customer quality, supplier quality and continuous improvement activities .

The successful candidate will be expected to combine technical quality knowledge with practical shop-floor problem solving .

Key Responsibilities:1. Quality Management System

- Implement and maintain relevant Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.




- Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, customer requirements and internal procedures.
- Maintain and update quality documentation and records.
- Support internal, customer and external certification audits.
- Ensure corrective actions arising from audits are effectively implemented.

1. Customer Quality & Complaints

- Handle customer quality complaints and coordinate immediate containment.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and identify permanent corrective actions.
- Prepare and implement corrective/preventive action reports.
- Implement Poka-Yoke / error-proofing wherever required.
- Ensure effectiveness of corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
- Capture lessons learned and incorporate them into future processes/products.

1. Process & Product Quality

- Monitor product and process quality at various stages of manufacturing.
- Support Quality Engineers/Technicians in part inspection and quality sign-off.
- Establish and improve inspection standards, instructions and documentation.
- Conduct regular inspection reviews with Production and other functions.
- Analyse internal rejection, rework and other quality issues.
- Drive actions to improve overall build quality.

1. Supplier Quality





- Work with suppliers to reduce non-conforming incoming materials.
- Coordinate supplier quality issues and corrective actions.
- Support supplier audits and performance improvement.
- Work with Supplier Quality Assurance teams to minimise the impact of supplier defects on production.

1. Quality KPIs & Data Analysis

- Monitor and report Quality KPIs on a regular/monthly basis.
- Analyse quality data and identify trends, recurring problems and improvement opportunities.
- Support departmental objectives and KPI achievement.
- Prepare quality reports and management presentations.
- Identify actions required to achieve quality targets.

1. Continuous Improvement

- Identify recurring quality problems and improvement opportunities.
- Lead/participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement error-proofing and process improvements.
- Ensure lessons learned are effectively communicated and implemented.
- Work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Purchase and other departments.

1. Team & Training

- Coordinate with Quality Engineers, Inspectors and Technicians.
- Support quality-related training and skill development.
- Review team performance against defined objectives/KPIs.
- Promote quality awareness and a culture of continuous improvement.

1. Safety, Risk & Compliance

- Follow applicable Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Participate in process/task risk assessments.
- Ensure Quality activities are conducted in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
