Job Title: IPQC Engineer – Mechanical Department: Quality – In Process Quality Control

Experience: Fresher or Experieanced

Industry: Tissue Paper / FMCG / Manufacturing / Mechanical

Qualification: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced IPQC Engineer (Mechanical) to handle in-process quality checks on the shop floor, ensure product as per specs, maintain quality reports, handle line rejections, and coordinate with production.

Key Responsibilities:

- To carry out in-process quality checks on shop floor as per control plan / SOP / WI.
- To monitor daily production activities and ensure product quality as per specifications.
- To inspect raw materials, in-process materials and finished goods as per quality standards
- To handle line rejection and analyze root cause for defects.
- To prepare and maintain IPQC reports, daily quality reports, and inspection records.
- To ensure calibration of measuring instruments and gauges.
- To coordinate with production and maintenance team for quality improvements.
- To implement 5S, Kaizen, and quality tools (7QC,



SPC, MSA)
- To ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, and other quality system requirements
- To support internal / external audits.
- To conduct training for operators on quality awareness.

Requirements:

- Solid knowledge of Mechanical measurements & instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge etc.)
- Knowledge of Engineering Drawings & GD&T;
- Knowledge of Quality Tools – 7QC, 8D, SPC, MSA, FMEA
- Experience in Manufacturing / Machine Shop / Assembly Line
- Good documentation and reporting skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in stock management or manufacturing accounts.
- Familiarity with other accounting or ERP tools.
- Experience in vendor management and costing
