About the Role

Om Tech is looking for a QA Tester / Software Tester to help ensure the quality, reliability, usability, and performance of our web-based products and applications.

The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, a structured approach to testing, and the ability to identify, document, and communicate software issues clearly.

Key Responsibilities

- Test web applications, features, and user workflows across different environments
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and checklists
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs and software issues
- Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and compatibility testing
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved
- Test APIs and backend functionality where required
- Perform cross-browser and responsive testing
- Work closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements
- Validate recent features before deployment
- Maintain clear documentation of test cases, test results, and defects
- Participate in release and deployment testing
- Help improve overall QA processes and testing standards

Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in software testing or QA
- Good understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies
- Experience with manual testing of web applications




- Ability to write clear and structured test cases
- Strong bug reporting and documentation skills
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is preferred
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL is a plus
- Familiarity with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and collaboration skills

Good to Have
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or another programming language
- Experience with CI/CD and software release processes
- Experience testing SaaS or AI-powered applications

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
