Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Python/Django applications, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability
- Drive technical design discussions, architecture decisions, and implementation strategy for complex modules
- Mentor developers through code reviews, pairing, and guidance on best practices and patterns
- Own estimation, planning, and execution with a focus on predictable delivery and risk management Engineering Excellence
- Establish and enforce coding standards, testing practices, and CI/CD-aligned development workflows
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement long-term fixes
- Ensure secure development practices, including authentication/authorization and data protection controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions Minimum Qualifications:




- 9–11 years of overall software development experience with strong expertise in Python
- Strong hands-on experience building web applications/services using Django
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, backend architecture, and scalable application development
- Experience with unit/integration testing, debugging, and code review practices
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree: BTECH, MTECH, MCA, MSC Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading teams or workstreams, including mentoring and driving engineering best practices
- Strong experience designing and building scalable backend systems, including modular Django architectures
- Experience with ORM optimization, query tuning, caching strategies, and performance profiling
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and release management practices for backend services
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical trade-offs clearly
